  1. WHY ARE YOUR PRICES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER WHOLESALERS?

We operate a little differently. A lot of lucky dip wholesalers will lure you in with amazing photos of vintage items that will resell for $$. Unfortunately, the reality is, you might be lucky to receive a couple of amazing true vintage items. The rest will be non-vintage items that aren’t worth much more than you have paid for them. We encourage everyone to do their research, especially when buying from lucky dip wholesalers (we learnt the hard way). Check Google (not Google reviews – so many of these are fake!), Reddit, YouTube etc. 

 

We prefer to be open and transparent. What you see, is what you get. We supply photos and a video of the exact items you will be receiving. This takes time! Our bundles are priced based on their potential resale value. Premium bundles are our most expensive, but you can expect greater returns. 

 

Almost all successful online vintage retailers NEVER purchase from lucky dip wholesalers (they will tell you the same thing). They pay more for handpick. Quality over quantity is very important in the vintage clothing industry.  

  1. ARE ALL ITEMS A-GRADE AND IN PERFECT CONDITION?

We try our best to highlight any flaws in the product video. Due to the nature of this industry, and human error, you may receive the odd item with a small mark, stain or rip. Not to worry – this adds character! You can expect to wash and steam items before listing them on your website/Depop/IG etc. We sometimes have some B-Grade bundles on offer – these will have flaws – we will do our best to highlight these in the product video.

  1. ARE ALL ITEMS FROM THE 1990’S?

Not all our items are necessarily vintage – they are also graded for content and not necessarily always age. Always check through the product video before purchasing.

  1. WHAT SIZES CAN WE EXPECT? DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF SIZES?

You can expect most items to be medium to extra large. We do our best to show the sizes in the product video. Size large is the most common size of clothing manufactured for the western world. The odd item may be small or xxl. We don’t supply a list of sizes due to time constraints.

  1. HMM I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO ORDER OR WHERE TO GET STARTED. CAN YOU HELP?

  1. HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE? WHEN DO YOU SHIP?

Agh, the million dollar question! Since Covid hit, shipping times have, at times, blown out. If you’re located in Melbourne, you should have your order within a couple of days (sometimes the next day). If you’re located in Perth, you can expect at least a week. When checking out, you’ll receive a range of different shipping options with estimated delivery times. These delivery times are an estimate provided by EasyShip. We usually ship within 2 days of receiving your order. You will receive tracking information via email. More shipping information can be found here.

  1. DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?

Yes, we sure do! Add the items you wish to purchase to your cart, enter your FULL address, and you will receive a range of different shipping options.

  1. RETURNS/REFUNDS

We don’t accept returns or refunds on wholesale orders for change of mind. More information can be found here.

  1. WHY DO YOU CHARGE A FEE FOR CHECKING OUT WITH AFTERPAY?

AfterPay charges over 6% per transaction. That adds up pretty quickly! We tried our best to absorb these fees in the past. Instead of raising our prices, we decided to instead at a 4.5% surcharge for payments through AfterPay.

  1. WHERE ARE THE ITEMS BEING SHIPPED FROM?

All items are being shipped from our little warehouse in Moorabbin, Melbourne, Australia. Mike, the owner, personally sorts through all of the stock, and arranges all of the shipments.

  1. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE ONLINE RESOURCE PORTAL (ORP)?

You’ll receive all the info to access the ORP via email immediately after purchase.

  1. CAN I COME IN AND HANDPICK?

Not yet.. but we do have plans for this in the future.

13.ARE THE CLOTHES BRAND NEW?

Unless stated, all clothes are used and pre-loved.
